Damien Omen II ( 1978). Spiritual Movie Review - Jacklyn A. Lo

The Omen II: Damien (1978) film’s directors Don Taylor and  Mike Hodges, is a great thought-provoking movie.

The keyword here is, Who are we?

The entire Omen series is compelling and mysterious.

mystics

Each of the series has its mesmerizing effect, based on mystical twists of the story. However, the second series, Omen II: Damien, is the most thoughtful.

The main character, Damien, is the son of Satan; however, he is not aware of that until he was thirteen.

Before this revelation, he was like an ordinary child, fulfilling his daily duties, playing with other children, and following the same rules as them.

who are we?

The Prince of Darkness’s son received this revelation, but how we, humans, receive the most important information in our lives, that is, who are we?

incarnation

Was I a priest or a farmer, an astronaut, or a housewife? Male or female, or possibly asexual? Or maybe this life is my first incarnation on Earth?

new age

Following the knowledge of the New Age, all spiritual entities, including humans, receive their programs of the life project, designed specifically for this particular entity.

past lives

However, our past lives and spiritual choices are closed to us. Consequently, we do not remember our previous incarnations and inner paths.

karma

Moreover, we do not know our good and bad deeds, what karma we have accumulated on our evolutionary path and what lessons we have learned.

This is done for many reasons, but perhaps the most important thing is to make a physical existence more real and appealing for us.
