In the movie Morgan ( 2016), director Luke Scott reveals human beings’ ethical choices concerning the artificial intelligence entities created by those human beings.
Some questions come to mind when one watches this movie.
the purpose
Firstly, what is the purpose of creating AI in flesh and blood like Morgan? Is this (once again) for a military purpose?
ethical issues
Secondly, if the experiment goes well and the scientists end up with a superwoman whose capacities are beyond those of any living human, is it ethical to execute this Artificial Intelligence?
For example, if she doesn’t meet the objectives (which are a mystery to the creators themselves)? It looks like a huge amount of over-spending.
energetic structure or a soul
Further, if we assume that the “Morgan” experiment is possible, shouldn’t we also assume that besides a physical AI body grown in an unnatural manner and within the synthetic DNA is a complex energetic structure or even a soul?
western science
In conclusion, Western science still has a minimal view of living beings’ energetic structure.
The western world’s medicine has mainly concentrated on anatomy and problems involving the physical body, without any knowledge of a bigger picture involving chakras, thinner bodies, auras, soul and consciousness, etc.
choices
That is to say, if we don’t know ourselves (humans), how can we make decisions about anyone else, for instance, AI, that we have created?
Would the choice to destroy AI be based on whether a “Morgan” had biological parents?
the universal law of cause and effect
We have to remember that we live under the Universal law of cause and effect; therefore, our decisions or choices have consequences.
In the case of cruelty to another, being a negative KARMA will reach you wherever you are hiding.
